About Us

Smart Start Modoc is a collaborative group of partner agencies and organizations around Modoc County who serve primary caregivers and/or families with children prenatal through age five.  Our group, the Modoc County Home Visiting Workgroup, continuously seeks to create a local early childhood system of care that helps families navigate and access early childhood health, development, and educational resources.  The Modoc County Home Visiting Workgroup and First 5 Modoc strive to reduced barriers parents and primary caregivers may face when finding and connecting to services.

Our goal is for every young child in Modoc County to be connected to needed supports as early as possible.
